Onyx Moon Studio... and other news

The new salon is now open! I have partnered with Mickey Payne of Wild Cherry Parlour to provide a beautiful and fun space for your hair and your nails.

A little back story...

Mickey and I met over a year ago at Kona skate park of all places! Over the year we became friends and in October 2021 sat down for a lunch date. We discussed how we had shared the same dream in opening a hair and nail salon. Soon after with a lot of back and forth we were able to sign a lease with suite 3 in the same building I had been working at for the past year and a half. We ran into some issues but remained persistent and positive that we would be open by the new year. We put our hearts and souls into this project, with blood sweat and tears and a lot of paint we had finally seen our casual conversation over lunch come to fruition.

That being said I am so proud and grateful to all the clients who have supported and followed me for the past 6 years, you have helped me make this all possible.

I am 11 weeks booked (can you believe it?!) so pre-booking at least 2 appointments ahead of time is very necessary! If you need to cancel please do so within 48 hours of your appointment. Same day cancellations (unless its an emergency) will result in a charge of half the service you requested. Just as you depend on me to show up I depend on you as well. I have also decided that at the moment I will no longer be accepting new mens or kids cuts appointments to save space for bigger projects, which is what I'm most passionate about.

Please show up closest to your appointment time, coming in too early makes me feel rushed. Its a personal problem, even if you're patient lol. My schedule is very tight, I like to have time to make sure your station is cleaned and sanitized before you sit down. Please try to plan on coming by yourself. The space is tight and for health and safety reasons I prefer reduced foot traffic. If you feel like you maybe sick or a family member is sick please cancel your appointment. In all honesty I don't have time to be sick and wouldn't have space to rebook clients until a much later date so I try to stay healthy!
